Major Duties (Job Description)
NIWC PAC employs scientists and engineers who hold BS, MS, and Ph.D. degrees in a variety of Science and Engineering fields. The New Professional (NP) program is a career development opportunity designed to bridge the gap between formal academic training and professional work. This includes structured activities, experiences, and training designed to prepare the employee for higher grade duties. Through rotational assignments, formal training opportunities and on the job training, you will have the opportunity to experience various types of work related to your background and interests.
You will have opportunities to network and develop your technical and professional skills.
Participate in structured developmental training curriculum.
Work in various areas related to your educational background and interests.
Qualification Summary

BS/MS - Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science
PhD - Varied S&E fields including Cyber S&T, Data Science, Machine learning, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development, Mathematics, Human Factors, Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Network Engineering, Chemistry, and Biological Sciences.
GPA: Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above preferred
Grad Date: Must have graduated or be within 9 months of graduation
Conditions of Employment
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance, some positions may require a Top-Secret Clearance.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
