ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST

Major Duties (Job Description)

  • You will provide material procurement support and planning solutions while working closely with product teams under limited supervision.
  • You will initiate and track material procurement packages from requirement definition through on-site delivery.
  • You will ensure all procurement documents are complete, accurate, and submitted on time for planning and purchasing activities.
  • You will collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to support cost estimates and material needs.
  • You will apply your knowledge of contracting processes to coordinate effectively with the contracting team.
  • You will use enterprise resource systems to manage inventory, shipping, and material movement and disposal.
  • You will support digital transformation efforts by applying digital engineering principles and maintaining data governance standards.

Qualification Summary

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or NO-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrate experience in material procurement, logistics support, including creating procurement documentation, conducting market research, developing cost estimates, reviewing purchase requests, and applying procurement policies, processes, AND/OR approvals to support complex purchasing requirements and resolve procurement challenges.
